Building an App without Code

Using No-Code tools to build a cost-effective, self-managed App

In this fifth of five, once-a-week workshops we will cover everything you need to consider building your own App for the web, iOS or Android devices. We will look at the different options you need to think about and go deeper into the different tools you can use to build an app.

We will look at database tools that can be used to drive your app, including Google Sheets and Airtable, and then cover some of the no-code tools out there to build your app with, including:

  • Softr
  • Glide
  • Adalo

If you are considering a way to build a simple app for your project, business or organisation then you will leave this workshop with everything you need to get started.

This is the fifth session in a 5 week course "Build a Website or App Without Code" and can be attended on its own, but we strongly advise joining the five-week course.

This event is part of the Digital Pathfinders programme and funded by the North of Tyne Combined Authority which means only organisations and businesses from Newcastle, Northumberland or North Tyneside are able to attend.

This course is run in conjunction with the No-Code Incubator - a space for learning No-Code in the North East.
